SEX BOMB BATH BOMB | REVIEW

Hey everyone! I’m back for another review of a classic Lush product: Sex bomb bath bomb! This is a cute little bath bomb that I’ve never tried before, so I was excited to give it a go! It looks adorable and smells wonderful. I’d never really been drawn to it before, but after discovering it shares some of it’s scent with the Lust Perfume (one of my favs!) I was intrigued and decided to go for it!

The bath bomb itself is pink and purple, with some pastel pink rose “petals” nestled within it. These petals are actually made of rice paper. It turns your bath water a gorgeous pink colour. The rose petals slowly drift across the water, which is a nice touch.

This would be a perfect bath bomb if you were looking to enjoy a bath with your partner (this would be amazing for Valentine’s Day!). Sex Bomb’s main ingredient is Jasmine Absolute, which is known to be quite sensual, as well as adding a floral element to it’s overall scent.

It also contains Clary Sage oil, which is very soothing and relaxing, and Ylang-Ylang oil, which adds a sweet note to the scent. These scents all combine to create an amazing scent! I can’t believe I’ve never tried this one before! I’m definitely going to be repurchasing!

This bath bomb is only £3.75, so it’s one of the cheaper bath products. This would make a great present either for yourself or for that special person in your life! Ask for a demo in store to try before you buy!

I really hoped you enjoyed this review and liked my featured image! I thought I’d change it up a bit! Lots of new exciting posts coming soon, so follow to keep up to date!

TWILIGHT BATH BOMB | REVIEW

Hi guys! I’m back with another bath bomb review! This time, it’s a Lush classic: Twilight. The last time I used this bath bomb was a long time ago and I have no idea why I haven’t repurchased until now! It’s such a great bath bomb and it’s a perfect for calming my anxiety before bed.

Twilight is one of Lush’s staple bath bombs, and I can understand why. It really is a beautiful bath bomb, with stars and moons embossed into it’s purple-pink outer layer. Hidden inside is a core of vibrant blue, with small yellow parts as well.

It’s a slow-fizzer, so it takes a while for the blue and yellow to start dissolving, but when they do your bath is transformed into a gorgeous lilac colour. It creates amazing bath art as it dissolves and the silver lustre is a nice touch. Your bath will look like a twilight sky, hence the name.

(Ignore the chipped nails!)

Twilight is heavily scented with Lavender Oil and Tonka Absolute, giving it a very soothing and relaxing scent. As I said, it really helped to calm down my anxiety before I went to bed. I’d imagine it’d also make a lovely bath in the morning, to help calm the nerves before a big event etc. (I’d certainly be tempted!) It also contains Ylang Ylang Oil, one of my personal favourites, which combines nicely to give Twilight an overall floral and sweet scent.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Twilight. The scent is to die for and you’ll no doubt be hooked once you’ve bought your first one! It’s only £3.95 too, which is a really good price for a regular-sized bath bomb!

If you love the scent, why not try the new Twilight Body Spray? It’s a perfect way to keep the scent on your skin for longer!

Hope you enjoyed this review, keep checking back for more!

Two Hearts Beating As One bath melt | Valentine’s 2017

Another Valentine’s review for you guys! This time, it’s finally something that’s not a bath bomb! It’s the Two Hearts Beating As One bath melt! I don’t have a lot of experience with bath melts, I’ve only ever tried the Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment bath oil, which, in my opinion, was completely different to a bath melt. This product seemed to have a lot more pigment and definitely had a much bigger impact on the colour of the water.

Like most of Lush’s Valentine’s products, this is predominantly rose scented. And by god, does this thing smell strong! It’s not the subtle, so-so product that I was expecting. I originally purchased this to use in a bath cocktail, as I thought it wouldn’t hold it’s own. However, I was very (very) wrong! The smell was very intense and was more impressive than some bath bombs/bubble bars I’ve used!

This bath melt actually produced bubbles as well, which was another surprise for me! However, if you’re looking for a lot of bubbles, maybe add in some shower gel or a bubble bar. It turns your bath water a very pigmented, almost neon pink. As you’d imagine from a bath melt, it’s super smooth and buttery on the skin and leaves you feeling gorgeously soft afterwards, which is down to the beautiful Apricot oil used in it.

I only used half of this product in my bath (the pink half) because I’m pretty broke right now and I’m desperately trying to save my remaining Lush! However, my bath was still amazing just with the one half! I’m presuming the water would also be pink if you used both halves, but it might be a little more peachy.

Overall, a great product, with a unique design and beautiful scent. If you’re interested in giving it a go, then get to Lush quickly, the Valentine’s Day range will soon be over! It’s only £3.95, so why not treat yourself?

Creamy Candy bubble bar

One of my holy grail Lush products! Repurchase it whenever I’m in Lush! This smells exactly like the Rockstar soap. It has a very strong, sweet smell, so if you’re not into that, maybe not for you! Otherwise, give it a go!

This product is cheaper than a lot of other bubble bars and is slightly smaller, but makes just as many bubbles. It turns your bath water a pastel pink colour (with no staining). The smell really lingers on your skin for hours after your bath. Lush need to make a perfume with this scent. Absolutely gorgeous.

Although this is a small bubble bar, you can still reuse it just like the other bubble bars available at Lush. I usually break this in half or use it whole. Your bath water will still look and smell amazing if you only use half!

RRP: £2.95

Don’t think they offer samples of these, but why not ask and see? If not, ask for a demo in store!
